An Illustrated History of Cranes

Published in the Ian Allan series 'Illustrated History' books - containing many interesting black and white photos which show the history of cranes mainly since the 19th c. till the 1990s - mainly UK and the USA examples and company histories.  
Good overview of floating, marine and dockside cranes, derricks, overhead cranes, railway cranes - and some little known crane examples.
It can be considered as a simple photo book, with quite a lot of errors in the annotations.
Nevertheless good to look at the pictures - if you can find a cheap copy through Ebay or Amazon
